Privacy Policy

How Zeus Virtue collects, uses, and protects information.

Last updated: April 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Zeus Virtue ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Zeus Virtue mobile application (the "App") and the website at virtue0026.com (the "Website"). By using the App or Website you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information stored only on your device

The App is designed to operate fully offline. Your reflections, mood entries, photos, journal text, favorite quotes, daily virtue spins, practice history, and preferences are stored locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to our servers, are not shared with third parties, and are not visible to us. Uninstalling the App removes all of this data permanently from your device.

1.2 Identifiers and device information

To deliver the App and to attribute installations correctly to advertising campaigns, we collect a small set of identifiers and device-level information through our integrated SDKs:

  • Google Advertising ID (GAID) / OAID: the resettable advertising identifier provided by your operating system. Used solely to attribute App installations to ad campaigns and to detect duplicate installs.
  • User ID: a non-personal numeric identifier generated by the App on first launch and stored locally. Used to associate your install with a specific campaign so we can de-duplicate analytics events.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token: if you opt in to daily reminders, the App may register an FCM token used solely to deliver local-style reminder notifications. The token is not used to identify you and not shared with third parties.
  • Device information: device model, OS version, system language, country (derived from IP), screen size, and app version. This information is used to ensure compatibility and to fix bugs.
  • Approximate location: derived from IP address only — never from GPS. We do not request the location permission.

1.3 Information you provide directly

If you contact us via the Contact form or by email, we receive the information you choose to send (name, email address, message body, and any optional file attachment). We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry.

2. How We Use Information

  • To deliver the daily wisdom quote, virtue wheel, and practices to your device.
  • To attribute installations correctly to advertising campaigns and to prevent fraud.
  • To deliver opt-in daily reminder notifications.
  • To diagnose crashes and to improve App stability.
  • To respond to your support enquiries.

We do not use your information to build a profile of you, to deliver targeted advertising inside the App, or to sell to data brokers.

3. Permissions

The App requests only the following permissions, all of which are optional:

  • Notifications — required only if you opt in to daily reminders. You may revoke this at any time in your device settings.
  • Photos / Camera — used only when you choose to attach a photo to a journal entry. Photos are stored only in the App's private directory on your device. We do not have access to your photo library.

The App does not request access to your contacts, calendar, microphone, location (GPS), or call log.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third parties for the purposes described above. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

App-side data — your reflections, photos, mood entries, favorites, daily spins — is retained on your device until you delete an entry, run "Delete All Data" in Settings, or uninstall the App. We retain attribution and device-information records for no longer than 24 months.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and we hold information that should be removed, please contact us at the address below.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact page. Because most of your App data lives only on your device, the most direct way to delete it is via the App's Settings → Delete All Data control or by uninstalling the App.

8. International Transfers

Our processors may store and process data outside your country of residence. Where applicable, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms.

9. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures (TLS in transit, restricted access controls, encryption at rest where applicable) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified via the App or this Website.

11. Contact

For questions about this Privacy Policy or about how we handle your information, contact us via the Contact page or email [email protected].
